How the guest list, browser storage, hosting, advertising, and tips work on Gift Stampede.

Your party list

Gift Stampede has no accounts and no sign-up. It creates the pick order and runs the optional steal tracker in your browser, and your list is not sent to a Gift Stampede server.

The only data the tool itself stores is a draft of your setup, pick order, and tracker, kept in your browser’s sessionStorage for this tab so a refresh mid-party does not wipe it. It stays on your device. Closing the tab or clearing site data for giftstampede.com removes it. Anyone using the same open tab may see it until then.

Advertising and cookies

This site uses Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. For more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Hosting

The static site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Requests for pages and assets pass through Cloudflare, which may process standard delivery and security information such as an IP address and request details.

Tips

The optional tip button loads a Ko-fi widget. If you choose to visit Ko-fi or leave a tip, Ko-fi handles that interaction under its own terms and privacy policy. Tips are not part of the pick-order process.

Children

Gift Stampede is a general-audience party tool and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
